You know those photos… The ones that when you look at them they simultaneously make you feel like they were moments from yesterday and also from a lifetime ago. The ones that bring you back to that point in time before all the other memories flooded in after it. Those are the cherished ones. The treasures. The ones that give you that feeling when you are having them taken that they are indeed marking a moment in your story you won’t ever forget. The ones that are framed, looked through at family gatherings over the years, and make you say “remember when.” Those kinds of photos. Those moments have always been my favorite to see first hand and document and, gosh, I don’t take it for grated that I have the honor to do so.
Feeling so grateful for this session and all the sessions ahead the next few months that will be filled with these kinds of photos. What an honor and pleasure it was to meet this amazing family, who welcomed me into their home and invited me to document one of the greatest parts of their story, sweet William.
