You would think that newborn sessions would all kind of start to feel the same and melt into one another in my memory with their similarities. But truthfully, I have honestly found that they are all truly one of a kind and each hold something so different from any other newborn session. With a snowstorm swirling outside my window as I type this, the best way I can describe it are like snowflakes - so different, unique and beautiful in their own way. Is that a totally cheesy metaphor?! Lol Well probably BUT that is exactly what these special sessions are like! While there is link between sessions in the parent’s bond and the sweet foundational love for their newborn, each newborn session is so different to document. I walk away feeling and knowing I just witnessed something uniquely extraordinary.
So with all that being said, it should come as no surprise that baby’s Alex’s in home newborn session was like no other one before it. It was a joy to see these two, whom I first yet years ago when I photographed their engagement session, hold a little one that beautifully represents their union and love for one another.
One of my favorite parts of this session was knowing the amazing family that surrounds and loves on these three, knowing the incredible hearts that these two parents have, and seeing this little one intensely focused on them. It was equal parts beautiful and adorable to see baby Alex keep his eyes locked in on his parents when awake. It was as if he just could not get enough of them, and it was quite obvious the feeling was mutual.
Loved my time with this amazing family who I adore and grateful I have had the honor of documenting so many of their incredible milestones. Pure JOY.
