In a span of two weeks we are celebrating both our daughter and son’s birthdays and each time they turn another year older it is so bitter sweet! It means they are growing more into the person they’re going to become and what a joy that is to witness. But truth be told, my mama heart is also just a tad bit sad seeing how quickly time is going by and that my babies aren’t babies anymore. It feels like last year they were literally just as tiny as sweet baby Brooks is!
I’ve said this before but I am always in awe when photographing a newborn just seeing how tiny their fingers are and their little pink toes. I love watching them lock eyes with their mom and see her gently soothe them in the position she has learned they like to be held in best. It was an honor to photograph Brooks’ newborn session and take in the magic and beauty of this special time for this family!
