The other day as I was preparing and packing my camera bag to head out the door to this sweet family’s in home newborn session, I realized how much I truly look forward and enjoy these sessions! When we started our photography business over 10 years ago with the focus on weddings, I wouldn’t have thought that newborn sessions would eventually become such a big part of my business a decade later. But I am a different photographer now then I was then, I’m now a mom and have a decade worth of life that has passed. With all that time gone by, I love that these in-home newborn sessions are easily some of my favorites to photograph!
You guys, my heart was melting spending time with baby Conner and his parents. The rain drizzled outside the window and their pups snuggled around as mom and dad talked about the JOY their son has brought them. My heart overflows that I even get to witness such happiness, let alone invited into their home and sacred space to document it. What an exciting and special new chapter in their family.
