In addition to taking photos of the baby alone during these in home newborn sessions, I love documenting the newest addition in the arms of their family for many reasons. One of the reasons is these sweet kiddos grow up SO fast, I want to document how little they once were... How their whole hand could wrap around dad’s pointer finger. How their feet could fit in the palm of mom’s hand. How their brother was already as tall as the arm of the nursery chair.
It’s capturing something that words can’t fully describe, and that by far is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer.
